Carter C. Parnell was born May 27 1877 to Hilliary H Parnell and Eliza Emaline Carter. In the previous entry, I mentioned a small ledger book owned by William M. Carter. He was Eliza's father. Carter passed his Mississippi Board of Medical Examinations in May 1899 (Com. App. May 13 1899 pg10) He married Martha Sloan Dec 15 1903 in Senatobia MS. They were blessed with several children: Hilliard, Emily, Margaret, Francis and Carter Jr. Dr. Parnell died suddenly at his home in Sledge Mississippi May 18 1952. Check back soon for more updates.
